Guillermo Del Toro's 'Frankenstein' unveils Viktor's creature in new trailer
The new film drops on Netflix on November 7th.
Directed by Adolfo Alix Jr., the film is due out on Netflix in October 16th.
NOT TO BE CONFUSED with the 2011 Elia Suleiman film about the Palestinian experience, Netflix's The Time That Remains is part-police procedural, part-supernatural romance following a string of strange deaths in Baguio's atmospheric highlands.
The film stars Carlo Aquino as an enigmatic, ageless being, who grows crestfallen for a young woman played by Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Many years later, the young woman is older and befallen to ailments (Bing Pimentel), and a dutiful investigator played by Bembol Roco closes in on the young woman and her immortal's inexplicable affair. Directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. (Madilim ang Gabi) and written by Mixkaela Villalon (Block Z).
Here's the official logline per Netflix's production notes:
An elderly woman and her immortal lover risk exposure when a retiring detective investigates a series of deaths tied to their past.
Netflix shared with us the film's key art, as well as the full trailer for the film. The Time That Remains will be available to stream on Netflix in October 16th, 2025.
