MMFF 2025 Deadlines:
Interested filmmakers are encouraged to download the relevant forms using this Google Drive link and submit their entries to MMFF's official emails: mmff@mmda.gov.ph and mmffsecretariat@gmail.com.
According to the festival schedule included in the GDrive link, MMFF will make their official selection in two batches: the first four according to finished scripts on May 30th and the other four according to the finished films on September 30th.
Last year's festival screened films such as The Kingdom, And the Breadwinner Is..., and Espantaho. Earlier this year, the festival brought almost all the entries (except Zig Dulay's Green Bones and Pepe Diokno's Isang Himala) to the States with the 2025 Manila International Film Festival, which serves as something of a global annex to the film festival we celebrate here every holiday season.
MMFF 2025 kicks off later this year in October with a mediacon and early December with the festival's much-beloved Parade of Stars.
