Erik Matti unveils black-and-white release of 'Honor Thy Father'
In time for its 10th-Year anniversary, Erik Matti's magnum opus hits theaters in black-and-white — screening exclusively at SM Cinemas.
The sixth installment of the 'Final Destination' franchise hits theaters May 14th.
THE OFFICIAL TRAILER for Final Destination: Bloodlines has hit the airwaves, following the much-talked-about teaser-trailer a handful of weeks back.
It has all the good fixin's, including the late Tony Todd, in a posthumous role as the franchise's enigmatic undertaker, William Bludworth. "Only by embracing death will it pass you by," he snoots at a young woman (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), who promptly learned that her bloodline has been at generations' old chase with Death itself.
The trailer shows barely any of the carnage that is expected to ensue, but we get a glimpse of where they happen. An observation tower collapse would have taken more lives had a young woman not intervene; decades later, Death comes to collect, putting all the bloodlines (which would otherwise not exist) in its twisted crosshairs. "Death is a stubborn son of a bitch."
The new film is directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky, the tandem behind the vastly underseen and underrated sci-fi indie, Freaks. Joining Sant Juana in the cast are Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, and Brec Bassinger.
